I came upon Certified Auto through my CarMax warranty (as an approved repair shop). The debugging and fixing took several tries, but the staff was very upfront about the challenges of the repair, where we were at in the timeline, etc. They were able to finally track down the issue and resolve it. I was so pleased with their candor that I broke a non-warranty car to them for repair. The service was just as good: timely, honest, up-front, etc. My experience with Certified Auto is that they want you to be informed about what is going on so that you can make the best decisions (in light of your budget, scheduling, etc). This feature of Certified Auto was much appreciated.
