I came upon Certified Auto through my CarMax warranty (as an approved repair shop). The debugging and fixing took several tries, but the staff was very upfront about the challenges of the repair, where we were at in the timeline, etc. They were able to finally track down the issue and resolve it. I was so pleased with their candor that I broke a non-warranty car to them for repair. The service was just as good: timely, honest, up-front, etc. My experience with Certified Auto is that they want you to be informed about what is going on so that you can make the best decisions (in light of your budget, scheduling, etc). This feature of Certified Auto was much appreciated.

I am pretty apprehensive with auto shops, that being said I was very pleased with my experience with certified. They were easy to deal with, friendly and fair.

The first repair shop in SLC that I feel I can trust. After one shop that I knew misdiagnosed the problem and then seemed angry that I was indeed correct, they sabotaged the car before I picked it up But the awesome guys at Certified actually listened to me, in spite of me being a female. They fixed the problem and even went beyond my expectations. And had it done much quicker than I expected, even though I told them they didn't need to rush. They never talked down to me and let me know they respected my opinion. I totally would trust them, and plan on going to them whenever I need help with my car. Thankyou so much guys !!!

Certified was fast and efficient yet thorough when replacing a transfer case, drive shaft and replacing wiring. Jeff was always available to answer my various questions regarding the job and even explaining possible issues to be aware of in order to prevent further failures down the road. I was very pleased with their service and pricing.

After failing an emissions on a recently purchased vehicle from a private owner. I was told to just drive around for about 50 miles to ok my remaining I/M monitors. Didn't work. Over the next few weekends after, performed recommended drive cycles and would read ok, only to revert to the original failed emissions test. I could only assume at that point the PCM had an issue. Took it in to Certified and Richard got the ball rolling quickly all while being the only one manning the front office. I left notes I had taken for the drive cycles. A couple hours later Richard call and we agreed to change out and program a new PCM. Now my truck is working like it's supposed to. Went and passed emissions. Thank You, Certified Automotive! Will definitely go back here.
