THEIR NEGLIGENCE CAUSED MY BRAKES TO FAIL. I recently went to Certified Automotive to have some work done on the suspension of my vehicle (control arm, struts). Their negligence, either through directly damaging the brake line by catching it on the strut during repairs, or failure to adequately inspect the vehicle when I brought it in with damage lead to my brakes cutting out while driving, nearly causing a collision. Certified admitting some guilt offered to replace the damaged brake line at no additional cost to me. I agreed to this compromise. However, they cheaped out and replaced the brake line with a junkyard part, without my consent, and refused to replace the damaged brake line with a OEM new part as is industry standard. They lied to me saying it would take 1 month to get a new part, when the dealer said 1 week. Furthermore, their technician verbally accosted me on the phone when I asked for a new part to replace the damaged part. SHADY, NEGLIGENT MECHANICS BEWARE! Edit: The reponse to negative reviews highlights the immaturity of the owners and reflects their quality of customer service. Also note they have their staff leave positive reviews to hack review ratings, reflecting their shady business tactics.
